Getting to the Chelsea Road Rally
The Chelsea Road Rally starts just south of the center of the shire town of Chelsea, Vermont — about 40 minutes from Hanover and Lebanon, New Hampshire and White River Jct. and Norwich, Vermont.
From the South or Southeast
(White River/Lebanon area)
- I-91 to Exit 2 (Sharon, Vermont)
- Left from Exit 2 onto Vermont Route 132 (0.2 miles,0.3 kilometers)
- Right (north) onto Vermont Route 14 (4.9 miles,7.9 kilometers)
- Right (north) onto Vermont Route 110 (12.6 miles, 20.3 kilometers)
- Right into Treatment Plant Parking Lot
From the North or Northwest
(Barre-Montpelier area)
- US Route 302 to East Barre, Vermont
- Right (south) at traffic circle onto Vermont Route 110 (23.3 miles,1.4 kilometers)
- Left into Treatment Plant Parking Lot
From the East
(Thetford area)
- VT Route 113 (west) to Chelsea, Vermont
- Left (south) onto Vermont Route 110 (0.6 miles,1.0 kilometers)
- Left into Treatment Plant Parking Lot
From the West
(Randolph area)
- VT Route 66 (east) to East Randolph, Vermont
- Right (south) onto Vermont Route 14 (0.3 miles,0.5 kilometers)
- Left (east) onto Chelsea Road (6.7 miles,10.8 kilometers)
- Left (north) onto Vermont Route 110 (1.6 miles, 2.6 kilometers)
- Right into Treatment Plant Parking Lot
When you arrive you'll probably see cars already lined up to your right. Just pull in behind them. Volunteers will come around and put a washable number on your windshield and also a slogan of your choosing on your rear window. You'll spot cars you've seen before throughout the rally and can easily identify them by this (often humorous) slogan!
